Honeymoon Bliss with Bluewater Singapore's Secure Ferry Tickets
As a newly married couple, my husband and I were thrilled to plan our honeymoon in Tioman. We've always dreamed of visiting this beautiful island and, really, what better way to start our married life than on a tropical getaway?
That being said, the thought of booking our ferry tickets from a foreign booking platform did make us a little anxious. I mean, obviously, we didn't want any part of our special trip to be marred by unreliable services or, worse, our booking and money going missing altogether. So when we came across Bluewater Singapore, a Singapore-owned virtual ferry ticket provider, it was like the perfect choice for us.
Peace of Mind
And so we chose to book our ferry tickets through Bluewater Singapore, which, by the way, operates under the domain
www.bluewater.com.sg. To us, the Singapore country-level domain is more than just an internet address. Frankly, to us, the extension represents security and reliability. Why? Because it means the site is hosted in Singapore. So we felt confident that they'll abide by Singapore's laws and regulations regarding online transactions. It gave us peace of mind that our money was safe and we wouldn't face any last-minute surprises that could end up ruining our honeymoon. No guarantees of course, there never are, but at least we nudge the odds in our favour a little.
Now, all that said, naturally, it doesn't mean that all foreign ticket portals are by definition sketchy. It's just that we're just not experienced enough in foreign merchants to know which is legit and which maybe isn't. And with a Singapore-run platform, we know we can't really go wrong.
The booking process on Bluewater Singapore was pretty straightforward. As newlyweds, we'd already been juggling quite a lot of arrangements, so we appreciated the simplicity and transparency of the platform. The ferry schedule was clearly displayed and there were no hidden costs or confusing terms. This basic set-up made it easy for us to complete our booking with a few clicks, subsequently allowing us to focus on the other important honeymoon preparations, such as our hotel.
After-Sales Support
What also gave us peace of mind about Bluewater Singapore was the sense of professionality the portal instilled. We found quite a good number of positive reviews about booking with the platform; quite a few mentioning their gratitude to the customer service and after-sales support teams, something that can be a bit of a hit and miss affair when reserving tickets with international booking sites in somewhat more obscure jurisdictions. So yeah, knowing that we'd be able to reach out to someone within Singapore and get a hold of them
if an issue should arise made a difference to us.
Additionally, as Singaporeans, we have to say that, apart from the comfort, confidence and convenience, our selecting a Singapore-based site is driven by loyalty too. Why wouldn't we support a local business, right? That way, at least some of our funds likely stay within Singapore. Just a little sense of community on our part, I guess. A small gesture, but hopefully appreciated. Anyway, when going on your honeymoon, there's nothing wrong with increasing your odds of a bit of good karma coming your way :)
Fast forward a month and we've returned from a wonderful honeymoon, which shall not be elaborated on :) Suffice to say that our experience with Bluewater Singapore was free of any worries and issues. Big Thank You to Bluewater Singapore.
As for other newlyweds or couples planning a romantic Tioman Island getaway, we can recommend the Bluewater Singapore portal. It can be found on
